This week's theme for work is Alcohol and Partying (always a doozy). It is targeted more towards under aged, irresponsible drinking, but I think has application for all of us.

How many people (teens) view the Blue Chowder site? I love all of the stuff you talk about and deal with on here - it is a good tool for me as a parent to assist in guiding my pre-teens. Alcohol seems to be the "in" thing, even at Emma's age (12) the kids at school are talking about getting drunk. Not much has changed since I was a teen. It amazes me that they still have not put some sort of a ban on alcohol, but yet have recently discussed lowering the drinking age to 18. It is such a horrible disease & most children don't know at all what they are getting themselves into when they drink their 1st drink.
When you do a discussion on teen pregnancy & choices, let me know. I would love to be a part of it...

Liz- thanks for the encouragement. I'm always amazed at the truth behind the statistics with young teens messin' around with... everything. As far as traffic, I think we have roughly 4,000 unique visitors a month with around 1,000 members and growing. I don't have that topic on the calendar for the next few months, but I love the idea. Maybe we can plug something in in the near future. Maybe we could fly you out for an exclusive interview! ;)
